Design & Technology - Curriculum Intent
At Woodley CofE Primary School, we aim to foster the following characteristics in our pupils during Design & Technology lessons:
- Significant levels of originality and the willingness to take creative risks to produce innovative ideas and prototypes.
- An excellent attitude to learning and independent working.
- The ability to use time efficiently and work constructively and productively with others.
- The ability to carry out thorough research, show initiative and ask questions to develop an exceptionally detailed knowledge of users’ needs.

Milestone 0 is for the 4 - 5 year old children in our Reception Classes (EYFS)
Milestone 1 is for the 5 - 7 year old children in Y1 & Y2 Classes (KS1)
Milestone 2 is for the 7 - 9 year old children in Y3 & Y4 Classes (LKS2)
